The small winding lane surrounded by coconut trees weaves its way to the quaint old-style charmed Magnolia at Betalbatim, South Goa. Victorian styled pearl white pillars stand tall and blend in with the old world Goan hospitality that awaits you.
Once inside, you immediately get the ‘home’ vibe as you wander around in the large drawing room (some call it the reception!) looking at the various curios that populate the area. Meanwhile Arun Sharma, the friendly owner cum host gives you an introduction to the property while he escorts you to your living cum bedroom suite.
Your room is one of the many rooms at Magnolia. Unlike typical hotel rooms, this is an extra-large room with comfortable attached bath, wardrobe, study table, kitchenette and more. Shift the furniture around if you like and feel like home.
Did we mention, it’s very quiet here… just some woofs, birds and hens and the rustle of the palms and your sighs. And yes, the pitter-patter of raindrops in the monsoon. Live and love the true life, right here.

When you want some great meals, ask Arun. A large kitchen which specialises in North Indian and Continental cuisines is always on the stand by. From great seafood, Prawn curry, Mackerel, Kingfish fry to pasta and dal makhani – the range is vast. But hey, let’s hear it from our wonderful guests:

THINGS TO DO
Magnolia is most ideally suited for exciting and quick trips to all beaches, restaurants and some fine cafés. Betalbatim beach is around one kilometre long and offers a tremendous view of the sunrise and sunset.
CHURCHES: And a trip to Goa without bumping into a church is impossible – at walking distance , two beautiful Churches , The Betalbatim Church Garden and Our Lady of Remedios Church reflect the spirit of the Goan culture.
